hey everyone,

 its time for another message from you favorite missionary in the whole world, yup you guessed right Elder Jordan Torres, this week was really awesome. its funny how the Lord can put trials in our life and then BOOM he gives us a great blessing. 

so we have been working with a few people and all of our wonderful plans have kinda gone down so it was one of those times when we are trying to figure out what to do and i did a lot of thinking trying to make myself better. one thing that i really impacted me this week was we were meeting with a guy and he asked why we do this. and the Lord really helped me. i had been thinking about what my testimony was like and at that moment i opened my mouth and taught about the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and testified that i do these things because i know that this is the only church that has the Authority to act in Gods name to overcome sin by Baptism. This moment was very special to me because the Lord helped me realize that my testimony is strong and that i am out here to bring that message to the world. 

then on Sunday we had the opportunity to teach about the Gospel of Christ to a lady and it was amazing. and i wasn't sure if i should invite her to be baptized but then i remembered a passage from preach my gospel that say " do not hesitate at anytime to invite someone to be baptized" and did it. she wanted to learn more and we are going back to teach her on Wednesday. its so wonderful to see how all these miracles work out for the best in the life of a missionary.
