this week was
pretty fun. lots of hard work that went into the week. some of the
things that we were able to do this week was helping a family move into
the island that we cover, umm we knocked doors for 5 hrs straight that
was some fun time there! we starting singing "missionaries sang and they
knocked and knocked knocked and knocked!" haha good ol' times haha
but something that i learned this week was in my studies of the
book of Mormon. Elder Rigby pointed it out to me about how in the being
they are being taught the law of Christ not the law of Moses. which is
very interesting to some points. about how int he old testament we learn
of the law of Moses and how it is very strict to the people. and that
here in America Nephi, Jacob, king Benjamin, Alma, Lehi, they all taught
about this most wonderful maned named Christ will come. that he will
save us all and that its through him we will be saved! so then they also
taught the higher law and how to live the doctrine that Christ will
soon teach.
there are lots of evidences of this all in 1nephi 2 Nephi Jacob and Mosiah! the ones that i really liked to point out is
2nephi 31 and Mosiah 2-5 (king Benjamin address). so in these they teach
all about faith repentance baptism Holy Ghost and enduring till the
end. which is the doctrine of Christ and how it pertains to what he
taught. and that is my awesome little nugget of knowledge that i learned
this past week!!
love you all
