Agust 19th

so this week was pretty awesome! Elder Oliphant and i had so much fun i think i need to repent for it. but I don't think so cause we did hard work and that was the best part. one of the fun things i loved about this week was that we just talked about the bible with people and shared messages from it and then tried to introduce the BOM or a message about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. so it was great.

we had some great things happen too. and its awesome that i will get to stay with him for another 6 weeks. i am staying in steilacoom for another transfer. so in this transfer i will be in steilacoom for 6 months and also hit my official 1 year point. its gonna be a sad day but ill get over it. so its onto the countdown for all those who miss me that much. i really wish i could stay out longer but I don't think they will let me. 

so in my studies this week i realized something that i didnt really know before about my purpose as a missionary. so our purpose is the "Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance,baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end."  

so in the great WA-TAC we often focus on the Baptizing. thats just what we do here. so in the book of Alma is the missionary stories. and i realized that all of then taught and baptized. they were lead by the spirit and found those that they need to. and thats what i loved about it the most is knowing that i am sent here to steilacoom to find those i need to and i will if i just do the lords will and work.
