Week 13

so last week was pretty slow but one thing that was prettty amazing was the fact that i finished the book of mormon!!! i had finished it for the 2nd time in my life. what a wonderful book of holy scripture it is. i love the stories and doctrine in it. 

so in the end we can read that moroni makes a promise moroni 10:3-5 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.

 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

in that we get the promise if we read the book of mormon and then ponder what it teaches and ask Heavenly Father in the name of Christ if its NOT true. then he will tell us it is TRUE by the power of the holy ghost. 

       why would moroni say ask if its NOT  true? i think it cause when we recieve and answer that it true when asking if its not true how much greater is our testimony of it. i know that the book of mormon is true. i know that Jesus Christ came and visited the people of the ancient ameriacas and that he loves all men everywhere! and i challenge everyone to read the book of mormon and find out on your own if it is true!
