February 24th

hello there everyone that looks at this.

so this past week was just something I cant really describe!

all week we really prepared for the fireside that our mission was doing in lacey! its something special that sister weaver has put together with all the different musical numbers! so we invited everyone to pretty much come to it.  and that was really sweet. also someone that we are currently teaching his name is steve. steve is a really great guy he is older and lives alone. he hasn't felt that God loves him and has been searching for that love for along time. and we have been trying to help him see that god loves him and its been a little rough. but this week at our ward we had  a pot luck dinner that he came to and felt really good about.

so the fireside came sunday night! well I am not mistaking when I say that it was the best one we have ever done as a mission!!!! the preparation that went into it was so great. we had many many people there about 360 in the audience and about 100 missionaries. and among those that were in the audience was steve! the very last song we sing as a mission choir in "amazing grace my chains are gone." all night the spirit was building and building and when we sang that song its like our LOVING Heavenly Father dropped a spirit bomb on the chapel!!!!!!!! yes just like when the US dropped the atomic bomb on japan it was like that. but so much better! everyone in the room felt the spirit it touched many hearts mine especially and most importantly the man named steve! steve said afterward that he knows the love of God now and he found a place where he feels like he belongs! steve is one of those few people that make knocking in the rain, snow, and cold worth it! ever person that has slammed a door, yelled at me, bashed or anything like that doesn't matter! he is realized that God loves him!!

brothers and sister I know that God lives today he knows our lives better then we do. if you don't feel he love get on your knees and ask to feel it till you do. he does love us we are his children. he has restored his church on the earth once again through a living prophet in 1830. that prophets name is Joesph smith, and Thomas s monson is our prophet called of God today. in the sacred name of our savior jesus Christ amen.
