hello family and friends

 

so this past week was pretty awesome. we had Halloween in the WATAC. we got to watch ephruims rescue and I would recommend it to anyone! such an amazing movie. also last night we had the most amazing fireside that our mission puts on. one of the greatest feelings anyone could have is when about 80 missionaries sing the efy meldey of sisters in zion and army of helaman sung. it was such a powerful song that I loved to sing it. also this past week we had lots of hard work.

 

so something I read this morning was in alma 60:23  "Do ye suppose that God will look upon you as guiltless while ye sit still and behold these things? Behold I say unto you, Nay. Now I would that ye should remember that God has said that the inward vessel shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also."

 

I love this scripture in that we must cleanse the inner vessel first. I look to that as our hearts. in everything that we do if our hearts our not pure then it doesn't do us any good. in 1 cor 13 the apostle paul talks about how if we don't have charity we don't have anything. and I think that is so true and everyday we must do our best to become like our Father and Heaven and his son our savior Jesus Christ. just like moroni says in the book of Mormon that charity is the pure love of Christ. and if we can obtain that then our lives will become so much better no matter what!!
