hey everyone!!! this week was pretty sweet. had lots of sweet miracle! in the WA-TAC you have to expect them cause they happen.
so
last wednesday we knocked just like any other night cause we find
through knocking. and we knocked some appartments. there was only 16
doors in the whole place and first 10 had nothing. then we knocked the
11th and met a lady named jessica. her 7 yr old son has wanted to learn
about God and keeps telling his mom "we need to go to church." so we
talked with her for a few minutes told her we could show her around the
church to help her son. and she has a copy of the Book Of mormon from
past missionaries coming over. so the church tour on friday at 12 fell
threw but we went to her house cause it was right down the street and
she totally had forgotten, and told us she would come over in 20
minutes. thankfully we didnt have any scheduled appointments. so we went
back to the church and waited VERY PATENINTLY. those who know me know
thats something i am still learning. but we had a great church tour. and
when we took her to the last room which has the baptism font in it we
invited her to be baptized and said yes. one of the funny things i
thought about is "why would someone come look at a church and when shown
a baptism font you accept the invitation to be baptized" but she is
really awesome.
