hey everyone!!
so this past week was
pretty awesome. had lots of way cool things happen! one of those things
was that we were able to finally talk to the uncle of a child to plan
his baptize! this weekend a 9 yr old will be entering the fold of God.
he is so wonderful and you'll hear more about that next week.
but this past week i learned a lot about the Fall of
mankind. in the book of mormon something that is so simply taught but
has great and profound effect on everything that we do was that in the
Garden of Edan God gave Adam and Eve agency. the simple fact and right
to act for ourself. this is the greatest gift we have in life is the
gift of agency. and how in that simple act of adam and eve partaking of
the fruit they had disobed Gods command. and death and sin came into the
world. we as humankind are sinful by nature. so in that we cannot enter
Gods kingdom....but why?! why would God create us and then make is so
we could not return to him. well that is why he is our loving God he has
so much love that he sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to die for us. that is
the next greatest gift we were given. and how through Jesus Christ we
can return to live with our Father in Heaven. and that is only through
the Blood of Christ we can be forgiven of our sins. and we must repent
and submit our will to the will of the father.
