hello family!

so to start off im not being transferred it is that time again. im staying in lacey and elder cichoski is leaving to the notheren part of the mission.

this past week was pretty awesome! and we had some really fun times but something that I want to share with everyone is what ive been studying this past week!

this past week ive been studying talks from ezra taft benson. if anyone knows him its that he gave numerous talks on the Book of Mormon. upon which ive read about 5 of them. and in this ive learned that it is true what the prophet Joesph smith said  “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.”

this statement is so true. over my mission my testimony on this book has only gotten stronger and stronger. I have grown closer to my heavenly Father better then anything else I can do then through this single book which is simple "another t testament of jesus Christ. one of my favorite vesus of the book comes from its first writer Nephi who says simple enough "And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good."(2 nephi 33:10)

if we don't read from the Book of Mormon everday then we are not using it for the purpose of that which our Heavenly Father had its young translator Joesph smith bring it forth for. we must use it every day to bring forth the blessings that are in it. those blessing of greater peace and joy in life, safety and comfort in the home, and protection from the adversary.

 and this is my witness that I know the book of Mormon and the church which has it is the only true church of Jesus Christ , and in his name I declare this in the name of Jesus Christ amen.
