So this week was pretty amazing!!! but isnt every week in the
WA-TAC haha. so our mission pres made a goal for the whole mission to
have 300 new investgators this week. and so our focus was getting those
new people. i must say i got really discouraged this week during our 5-7
knocking. we really didnt have any sucess at finding people. except on
one night we were knocking in tenino. all night we had no answer or im
not intrested and even one guy cuss us out. so it wasnt a great night
for my high energy but the VERY last door we knocked a lady named
christine Pine answered. she is 74 christian background and knows that
christ has saved her from many things in her past. so we got to talking
and the thing i loved the most was he said "i do have some concers about
your church" my first thought was well what are they but they left
QUICKLY and nor did elder elder ask it. so we didnt argue and we meet
with her again tomrrow. so its pretty sweet. we got 4 referals from
different people this week too. so im pretty sure you are all wondering
about the goal of 300 new in the mission, mine and elder elder goal was 5
new and our zone was 20. the zone had 28!!! and me and elder elder
found 5!!!!! way awesome!!!!! the mission as a whole had 317 new found
this week!!!!!
so no onto confrence! who watched it? IF YOU DIDNT START READING
ALL THE TALKS!!! they were amazing. most of the new age limits of 18 and
19 was a total shock. i think it was a cool thing for some of the kids
back home. it proves the church needs more missionaries and worthy ones.
the bar has been raised again and doubled for us current missionaries
to be the example for the new ones. i know that at 18 i wouldnt have
been ready so thats one thing im glad about. but confrence has an
amazing spirit we had a mother and son come to the saturday afternoon
session. she knows its true!! she said it her self and i think her son
has similar feelings. we are hoping to get in and talk to her this week
and start teaching them. so that was my week pretty much full of tender
mercies of the lord.

Elder Torres also told my Mom that 23 months is not long enough and he wants to extend his mission. I love how hard he works and the enthusiasm He has to serve the Lord!
