this week was pretty sweet! i got to
go to the temple and enjoy of the wonderful spirit there! and also as i
talked about last week i had a goal to read the 4 gospels together and
finish before the temple. I DID IT!!! there was a lot of reading i did
that morning to finish but it happened. one of the greatest things ever
to do, i learned so much about the life of Jesus Christ and increased in
what i knew about him and what he did. and i made a new goal to finish
the new testament by the end of the transfer. that's gonna be a rough job
to do but i can do it.
so from my studies the scripture i will share is is Acts 5:41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.
what
had been happing is that peter and john were being put in jail and
trying to be killed because of the name of Jesus Christ. and when they
had left a court case they were happy and "rejoiced' that they were
being persuceted as jesus had predicted. and i applied that to me and
how i can be happy and fill joy to be "worthy" to be yelled at and
everything for what i am doing and how i am doing it in the name of
Jesus Christ.
