Week 12

Hey everyone !!

 

This was a pretty sweet week. although i cant remember much right now i know it was awesome! elder and i made a few changes that i think helped us be more productive and busy. on thursday we had interviews with president weaver! that was so awesome! i love president weaver and enjoyed my time meeting with him and talking about somethings i had doctorine questions about.

 

this is my last for sure week here in the tenino ward so send all letters to the mission office please!

 

my spirtual thought it one i kinda stumbled upon in studies. first it is in  

 

3nephi 18:12 And I give unto you a commandment that ye shall do these things. And if ye shall always do these things blessed are ye, for ye are built upon my rock.

 

next is D&C 3:34 Therefore, fear not, little ^aflock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are ^bbuilt upon my rock, they cannot prevail

 

so what is this rock we have to build upon?? im glad you asked lets go to

helaman 5:12  And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the ^arock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your ^bfoundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty ^cstorm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

 

 

 

 

so we find out that the rock is Jesus Christ! and when we have our foundation set on his teaching in the Bible and Book of Mormon all of Satan and his followers cant bring us down. yes that is right all of hell can not bring us down or hurt us if we are built on Christ!
